Any one know where I can find a replacement binding for the body that is just as good as the original? Mine is cracked and broken.

Thanks for all the help guys

Ummm...the problem is not finding the binding, it's applying it properly. It has to be glued and scraped and should have the conversion varnish over it touched up, as well...

Anyway, if you do want to try doing it yourself, Stewart-MacDonald (www.stewmac.com) and Luthiers Mercantile International (www.lmii.com) both sell binding. The correct size is 1/16" X 1/4".

You can attach it with DuPont Duco cement, which comes in a tube. However, this is not how the factory does this, nor how I go about it, either.

With patience, you'll get it glued on, but it won't look pro.
